Pharmacies will help people Stay Well this Easter

Pharmacies will help people Stay Well this Easter

March 28, 2018

People in Devon are being encouraged to visit their local pharmacy first for clinical advice and treatment.   The NHS Stay Well campaign is reminding people that pharmacists are highly-qualified health professionals who specialise in medication and are trained in managing minor illnesses and advising people on their health and wellbeing.  Pharmacies are also the most convenient form of healthcare as people don’t need to book an appointment and many are open late evenings and weekends.

Many pharmacies will be open over the Easter bank holiday period to make sure people can continue to get expert advice and care without an appointment.  People can find out which pharmacies are open either by checking on NHS Choices or looking here.

See Mark Stone, Devon LPC Consultant Pharmacist, talking about how community pharmacies can help you stay well this Easter.
