Fantastic Opportunity – Healthy Living Pharmacies and the new Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework
Fantastic Opportunity to receive a funded distance-learning course through the LPC for a Health Champion or HLP Leader.
It has been announced that a Pharmacy Quality Scheme is to be introduced from 1st October 2019, replacing the previous Quality Payment Scheme. This will include a payment for achieving and maintaining Healthy Living Pharmacy (HLP) status and, in order to claim the payment, all criteria must be met at the point of the claim in early 2020. Important Note: From April 2020, being an accredited HLP will be an essential requirement of the new contractual framework.
Every HLP requires an HLP Leader and a health Champion. The LPC has a limited amount of funding available to support contractors who may not have been able to meet this criteria previously. Funding is available on a first come first served basis and when it’s gone, it has gone.
