Devon LPC Latest training events

August 23, 2018

The latest training schedule has been published by Devon LPC and can be viewed here with details of how to book places.

The main events due to be held in September are the Engagement Events for the new Digital Minor Illness Referral Service (DMIRS).  Devon has been chosen to be one of only three new areas in the country to be running a pilot for the service, funded through the Pharmacy Integration Fund, which is going live on 8th October 2018.

The innovative service uses improved technology and new models of care to help pharmacists and their teams relieve pressure on the urgent and emergency care system.

By attending one of the events at the end of the evening you will have understanding of;

  • The background to the service
  • Why it is important to Devon
  • How the service works
  • PharmOutcomes – Where PharmOutcomes fits in
  • When to escalate
  • Resources – what are available
  • Worked through some case studies.
