ROYAL SOCIETY OF PUBLIC HEALTH (RSPH) – HEALTH IMPROVEMENT COURSE TRAINING & EXAM
Events have been organised free of charge thanks to an educational grant from health education south west for technicians, health care assistants and staff who want to understand, what public health means and how to deliver health promotion in the community pharmacy.
What will be covered during the training day?
Each training event will cover public health needs and health priorities, brief interventions, make every contact count, brief interventions behavioural change.
The day will also provide attendees with an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised and accredited qualification from the Royal Society of Public Health (a short multiple choice test will be given at the end of the day).
The RSPH Health Improvement Course is a mandatory requirement included in the RSPH Healthy Living Pharmacy Level 1 self-accreditation criteria.
There is no charge for this training, all refreshments including lunch will be provided, all you have to do is book places to attend!
Each event starts at 8.45am with registration and coffee, training starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm.
