CPPE Clinical Assessment Skills Training for those pharmacists currently providing DMIRS

30th June 2019 9.00am - 4.30pm

Future Inn, 1 William Prance Road, Plymouth PL6 5ZD

We are fortunate in Devon that the CPPE has been commissioned to provide clinical assessment skills training for Devon pharmacists who are currently providing the Digital Minor Illness Service (DMIRS).  Please see flyer  for more information. The first two workshops are being held in Plymouth and Exeter and are limited to 24 places per workshop.   There will be two further workshops planned for September/October so if you are unable to attend either of the first two, email Cate Dawes (cate.dawes@cppe.ac.uk) and she will contact you when the next two dates are released.

Pharmacists who work in a pharmacy that provides DMIRS are eligible, the keyword required for booking is DevonDMIRS (case sensitive).  This looks like a brilliant development opportunity for Devon pharmacists and we hope you will be able to take advantage of it.

We would also like to remind pharmacy teams that if your pharmacy is signed up to provide the service, that it is available for all of the opening hours of the pharmacy.   We have enclosed a quick guide with some reminders of what to look out for, which may be helpful to your locums and relief pharmacist  (they are also expected to provide the service if the regular pharmacist is not in the pharmacy when a DMIRS referral comes in).  Could we ask you please to share this guidance with your team, and in particular any locums who work in the pharmacy.

Thank you for your continued support for DMIRS and for the work of the LPC.
