Chlamydia Screening & Talking to Young People Training

Aim: To explore the Community Pharmacist’s role in the provision of Chlamydia screening for young people aged 13-24
At the end of the session the pharmacist will have:
An overview of Chlamydia Trachomatis infection and the National Chlamydia Screening Programme
An understanding of the local area Chlamydia screening pathway and the pharmacy Preventx screening kit
An understanding of how the consultation with young people can impact positively on the screening and signposting process
Attending this training is mandatory for all pharmacists (and locums) delivering EHC and Chlamydia screening in Devon and Torbay.
